MessageCentral is a new age, contact management assistant that uses the metaphor of the pink "While You Were Out" message pads. MessageCentral's makes message taking a breeze with intelligent look-up and intelligent recognition features. Although it has been designed to help keep track of your voice messages, combining MessageCentral with the power of your Newton instantly transforms telephone messages into Appointments, To Do's, Notes and New Contacts with a tap of your pen.
No more cryptic notes written on tiny scraps of paper (i.e. 6/30, Linda— 2:00). MessageCentral formats those Messages into useful documents that are always with you.
IMPORTANT: To get the most out of MessageCentral be sure to import from your computer or create as many name entries as you typically come into contact with. There are a number of software programs available to help accomplish this task.
**Be sure to Index the Names file (see faster searching p. 11) to dramatically reduce your search time.
Before you begin using MessageCentral you will first need to install the "package" onto a storage card or into your Newton's internal memory. It is necessary to have approximately 80K free in either case. The Newton Connection Kit or similar application is required. The following are the typical steps involved in downloading the package.
